AFAIK, like guild recalls, tokens are tied explicitly to the guild's name. Probably not an easy way around that. Likely be easier to simply prevent guild renames while in possession of tokens.

It would overshadow the chaos benefits because it's the same effect, but stronger. The whole point of a chaos sword is the small percent chance of dealing increased damage. That would completely overshadow the benefits of chaos swords. 5% monster health would also be insanely huge damage on bigger mobs. On Dragon Overlord (DR version), that would be up to 4000 damage, if it was at max health. High level posses or sentinels or vagabonds could be much worse.

anything 100% is game breaking. been this way since dawn of time. That's not accurate. A lot of things in the game are 100%. The easiest example being posses. Even if you made it so that adding a demon amulet to a geomancy combine gave you an automatic vagabond, it still wouldn't be "game breaking"...

Very similar to what me and Chestie were suggesting earlier: I believe red white black and green should be able to be converted in any direction at a 1:1 ratio since they are all 4 equally as rare to get. Make the TS formulas the same as the other dust conversions, except I'd recommend 4x4x#of dust...

She says it helps highlight increases in shard chance, so my assumption is that it'll only happen if there's enough dust on it to satisfy the "dismantle attempt must return dust" requirement.

That's my assumption.. can't be sure though.

My suggestion was to make scythes use a damage calculation based on magic stat, not physical. Hence the suggestions to keep the actual weapon base damage below what the pure metal swords can achieve.

You know as much as I or anyone else knows, other than Iresh who is the server Dev. She knows more because she wrote the code.

And in the past, no one even knew that much. Knowing as little as we do about it is an IMPROVEMENT over the nothing we knew about it before.

As I already said, we don't know how everything factors into the chances.

I was able to make a posse calculator because I can read all the details of how it's calculated in the source code, and there's been no change to that calculation for this server. That is not the case for shard chance.

If the damage sounds too strong, then maybe the staffs all have a damage rating of 0 and don't add to final weapon damage, leaving the damage at whatever the initial GS was. Or oak/onyx/elm are 1/2/3. Whatever works in the balance.

personally, i don't think a new weapon should be stealing the effects of already existing weapons. Leave the bladestaff effect for the bladestaff and come up with something new for the scythe.

But find a way to fix the claw first.
