Commerce spec is an interesting thought... Kinda like it. Increasing the rate of respawn doesn't solve the issue at hand unless it becomes near instantaneous, though increasing specific merchant stock would help. Also as a side note, if the bleed damage is directly correlated to the ingot strength it auto balances itself. The reason blacks were OP was because you could add an infinite amount to them, whereas if the damage is limited by quality of blade there's no way to break the balance.

In order to consistently hit 1024 td for a 7+7+11 (25) ultimate gem shatter you need roughly 400 TS. You can hit much higher WV at 400, but that's when you stop failing ruby totems.

To guarantee that value you need roughly 500 TS.

To clarify on a quick point Yuritau made regarding mechanics...

Geo depth beyond 130m has a flat 99% dust resistance when using spirit monsters. All other monster types are still effected by the full value of dust resistance and require blacks.

The bone warriors are one of the best places in the game to farm meat. Increasing the respawn rate would imbalance things dramatically. The odds of your character getting hit are based on your dodge and totems... I don't think there's a simple way to make specific monsters hit you more often without...

As a side note, this time investment and immense cost is why I still believe all dusts should be able to be converted.

For an extra 131 million gold I could just farm posse and get the dusts I'd need without having to convert anything... Leveling TS is not cost efficient at all.

Another reason I'm going to suggest 4+4 for use on Undeads is that it will cost roughly 31 million gold to get to the point where an Undead can be shattered without imbues. At which point you'll need roughly 700 undeads in order to get to a point where they can be shattered to convert gems consisten...

Yeah I'm kinda against it being 7+7 also, because it means you can only do 1 ultimate at a time... I was just using that as a mathematical representation of cost-balance (though I think this is unnecessary to look at). Personally, I think it would be better to look at it from a backwards perspective...

As an extended thought... This addition of green and black dust does also make whites more difficult to come by, however I think this is a good thing due to the sheer strength they have in large quantities.
